Bhulla Lake is an artificial Lake dedicated to young Soldiers of Gharwal rifles who helped in making the lake, The Meaning Of bhulla in Gharwali language is Yong brother. The atmosphere around Bhumle Lake is very quiet. it’s an Ideal Place For a picnic, you can enjoy boating here.
You can go to the bridge over the lake here for the beautiful view of the lake. The bridge Capacity is 10 person at one time. You can see some ducks floating in the lake water and some rabbit also around the lake. There is a restaurant, cafe near the lake. Bhim Pakora is a beautiful historical place, 2 kilometers from the Land of Lansdowne. here are two rocks which are kept in a way that does not fall down. Whether you shake a rock with both hands, even when the rock does not fall. According to a story told by the people here, Pandavas of Mahabharata stayed here for one night in their relegation time. Then was Bheema kept both rocks on top of each other. you should go to BhimPakora to see the magic of both rocks.
Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple
Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple is the most visited place in Lansdowne, The holy temple in 38 km from Lansdowne. Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple is 1500 years old and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Every year Pepeol come here in large number, it’s believed that if you wish something here then your wish will come true. Darwan Singh Museum
Darwan Singh Museum is 1 km from the Lansdowne market. The name of the museum is named after the great Victoria Cross holder Darwan Singh Negi (November 1881 – 24 June 1950) he was part of the 39th Garhwal Rifles during the First World War. The museum is maintained by the Garhwal Rifles. you can find some information about Garhwal Rifles achievements and golden history of the Indian army. you can also see some old uniforms. you can know everything about the heroes of Garhwal Rifles Who has sacrificed their lives for our great nation India. St Johns Church was established in 1936, St Johns Church is a Roman Catholic church, its 1 km from Lansdowne market. The interior of the church is very beautiful. The atmosphere around the church is also very good. The Timing of the church is 8 AM – 5 PM.
