Ranthambore national park is the most famous and largest national park in India. Ranthambhore is spread over an area of 392 sq. Km. Places to visit Ranthambhore National Park
Ranthambore Fort is the most ancient fort in the Sawai Madhopur area. the fort was Founded in 944 and initially named as “Ranat Bhawar Garh”. The Fort covered over an area of 7kms. It is surrounded by huge walls made up of stone which is about 7 km in length. The fort is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site under the title “Hill Forts of Rajasthan”.
Bakula region is Ranthambhore National Park’s greenest zone. Bakula region is plush with various pools and water-holes including the dense forest part. The dense forest cover and easy availability of water are the ultimate reason for the presence of an abundance of wildlife in the Bakula Region.

Trinetra Ganesha Temple
Trinetra Ganesh Temple is oldest and famous Ganesha Temple in Rajasthan. The temple is in Ranthambore fort and located 12 km from Sawai Madhopur. It is believed that when we speak “Pratham Ganesha” in worship or any religious work, then it is Trinity Ganesha of Ranthambore. It is believed that this is the only temple in the entire country where Lord Ganesha idol has been kept with his entire family. This temple was built by King Hammer in 1300 AD. At the temple, aarti is sung five times.
According to history, in 1299 there was a battle held between King Hammeer and Alauddin Khilji. During the war, King Hamir kept food and things necessary in godowns inside the fort. The war continued for many years, things stored in godowns were ending.
King Hammeer was a very big devotee of Lord Ganesha, one day when King Hammeer was sleeping, then Lord Ganesha came to his dream and said that the tomorrow all problems will end.Then the war ended the next day and all the godowns were filled again. And in a wall of the fort, he found an idol of Lord Ganesh with three eyes. Then he built that temple. Since then temple has a lot of recognition.
